Glad you like the images (or at least that they make you happy). Here's the story on how they are done (each year is somewhat different, so these comments apply to this year's postings). The base image each day is from scans I made from my sketchbooks that have actual physical collages. Those scans are then digitally "cut" in Photoshop into 5" squares. Each day one of these squares is "pasted" on the card, then I take other digital images that I have photographed (often numbers or letters) and "paste" those on top using Photoshop. Some transparency is maintained in Photoshop so that the bottom image shows through. That's a quick explanation ... feel free to ask me more.
