This has long been played out yet somehow has remained a predominant form of presentation. What if you hired a magician to perform on stage will you made the music off stage? This would make more sense. I think if you continue to perform like this you really should think about what you body/image brings to the viewer and how they will contextualize your performance. Also the objects should be more interesting (that can mean a variety of things) maybe less is more and no one can see your hands in box? Cheers.

- i can't seem to understand your image with your music. I am curious why you follow a traditional format of performer/audience? When listening I focus on your image which hinders me from having dialogue w/ the sound. Or is it that your image is some how informing the piece? If so what does this function say or perform other than to idealize the separation of intellectual and other. Is the piece didactic(informative of some discourse i.e. human conflict) or experiential and left to be authorized by the viewer? In the latter I feel that your image is a diservice to the work and the performance is a furthering of traditional format unrelated to the concepts and or environment that your work is seeking to convey...
